Wild Landscapes

Ever since I was a child, I have loved drawing landscapes. Summer holidays in the west coast of Scotland, Tolkien’s evocative descriptions of Middle Earth, Walks in the ancient woodlands of Suffolk; these have all shaped my deep connection with wild places.

Trips to Wales, Cumbria, Bavaria, and return trips to Scotland in my adult life have reignited this part of creative practice; as I respond to the sublime majesty of nature with pencil on paper.
