Scrambled Architecture
I have always been fascinated by history. When walking through historic buildings, I often feel an overwhelming sense of the lives of people in the past: the hands that built a wall, the feet that crossed the threshold of a door, the eyes that have daydreamed from a window.
Sometimes I draw buildings exactly how they stand. However, other times I pick out architectural details - brickwork, doors, windows - and scramble them, capturing the spirit of the building and the stories locked within.
