Wild Landscapes

2018 - 2023
Drawing

Since I was young, I have loved drawing landscape. Tolkien’s evocative descriptions of Middle Earth, trips to the west coast of Scotland, and walks in local forests as child have all shaped my love for mountains, waterfalls, and wild places.

During a trip to Scotland in 2018, after having not visited for over 10 years, the beauty of the Highlands had a profound impact on me and I turned to my pencils to attempt to capture just a slither of the majesty I was entranced by. Glencoe, 2018 was the first work I created after the trip.

I continue to sketch the places I travel to, and the places I dream of travelling to one day.
