365, 2017

As my adult life began after university, I experienced creative block for the first time in my life as an artist. So in 2017, I set myself the challenge of creating an artwork every day that year. The challenge to create everyday forced me to create work on the move, to be instinctive, to try new materials, to play - going against my natural behaviour as an over-thinker.

What resulted was a body of 365 works including drawing, painting, photography, and performance. Some works were unsuccessful artistically but had a more important result: they reignited my creative flame. Some moments over the year have left a lasting legacy on my ongoing artistic practice.

Below is a selection of highlights from the year.
