Scrambled Architecture
I have always been fascinated by history. When walking through historic buildings, I often feel an overwhelming connection with people in the past. The hands that built a wall, the feet that have stepped through a door, the eyes that have daydreamed out a window.
Sometimes I draw buildings exactly how they stand. However other times I pick out architectural details - brickwork, doors, windows - and scramble them. Capturing the spirit of building, and all the stories it holds.
